That's a wrap...

Well everyone after 221 posts for this year that is all I have. I feel like I pretty much captured the whole year on this blog. Now wish me luck in making my blog book (aka picture encyclopedia with that many pictures). See you next year!

West Yellowstone-Winter 2009

The first picture before they headed out on their first ride. We all love this time that we get to spend in West Yellowstone with my family. Let's hope that next year our tire doesn't go flat again.... Third year is the charm..right?

Swimming

While the big kids were out riding snowmobiles we decided to take the little ones to the pool. We tried and tried to get a picture of them looking at the camera but no luck this time.

As you can see the pictures didn't go so good but oh well. When we are in West Yellowstone during the winter we swim and sit in the hot tubs, play outside, eat, then repeat the steps again. It is always a great vacation!

Sledding

Lacie, Isaac and Jake while Jake tries to figure out what in the world we are doing.

One of the days that we were there Katie and Jeremy and their kids, Nolan and Lyndsay and Aaron came up for a night to play. It was fun to see them and the kids all had fun playing together. While some of the grown ups went on a snowmaching ride we took the kids out to sled. We also got to see the entire Jensen family. They came for a swim for one afternoon and it was great to catch up with all of them.
Max and Anden

Isaac and Jake

The next few pictures are flying sleds... the kids were having a great time. Justin and Grandpa worked hard and had fun too!

They had a lot of fun out on the sleds!

Just a few pictures of the kids playing outside of the condo. Jake loved eating the snow and he had fun until he decided that he didn't want to wear his gloves anymore and then he got to come in. Isaac and Max stay outside until they can't feel their fingers anymore. Then they would come in and cry in the shower while their fingers would tingle while thawing out! The things we do to have fun!

Shaking the trees...

On one of the snowmachine rides the kids got off and played in the trees. The were shaking off the snow and icecicles. Justin said the had a great time out there in the snow.

A winter wonderland with 3 handsome boys!

Grandpa Kirk taking a break on the snowmachine.

Both of the kids are in this picture... they are trying to shake snow on each other and on their own heads. The did a pretty good job don't you think!

They always have so much fun out there on the snowmobiles and playing in the snow!

Riding Snowmobiles

The last snowmobile ride of the trip the boys headed out and Jake just had a complete meltdown. So I quickly got myself and Jake ready so he could have a short and sweet ride on the snowmobile with Justin.

My kids love going snowmobiling with Justin, Grandpa Kirk and Mason. Even if they do freeze their fingers it is worth it!

Jake ended up riding in the sled while Grandma Marla pulled him. It was a very cold morning so we only last a little while outside. What a fun, fun trip we always have to West Yellowstone in the winter!

Christmas Sunday

I quickly took these pictures before church on Christmas Sunday. I realize that we have seen a lot of pictures of these black sweaters - but I can't get enough of them. The boys just look so darn handsome in them so I keep taking pictures of them.

Isaac and Max did so well and just smiled like they were asked. Lovely!

Jake just wanted to play in the snow - so we got some cute pictures of him but his is playing and not posing! oh well!

Aren't all three of them just so handsome! I just love my boys!

This is how the part had to end.... Jake did not want to come in from the snow and I wasn't going to get him in my heels... Thanks for being home to save me Justin.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve ... We ate finger food... aka kid food. Which is always good and everyone is happy! We read Christmas stories and sang Christmas songs around the piano. The best part of it was that Isaac played 4 or 5 of our songs this year while the rest of us sang. So cute. I played for the rest of the songs which is great but not as great as when Isaac plays for us!

Of course as usualy they got new pajamas to open on Christmas eve.

They were all thrilled with their new pj's - they had been wanting slick shirts and this was their lucky day. Don't they look handsome in their pj's.

Stockings...

The stockings..... always first and always fun. I think Christmas sometimes could start and end with stockings. Santa can stuff more awesome stuff in a stocking then I can believe! The kids got candy, movies, games, guns and plenty of gum. They were thrilled!

As you can see Jake didn't start off great on Christmas morning. He didn't want anyone but me to touch him or hold him or talk to him. He didn't want anything to do with his stocking and worst of all he didn't want his sippy cup! It took him a little while to get happy and we were all much happier when he finally put a smile on.

Isaac

This year Isaac started the party of following the santa string. This year santa wanted to do clues for Isaac and Max but they just love the string so santa gave them one more year!

Isaac was so funny when he found his pocket knife - not a lot of emotion but maybe surprise that he actually got a pocket knife. His dad wasn't sure either of them were old enough for a pocket knife but apparently santa just grants wishes whatever they may be!

Very exciting for him to get "grown up toys" this year!
