Jake's 2nd Birthday

Jake's 2nd Birthday

We made Jake a "dirt" cake with worms on it. . . perfect for him!

Blowing out the birthday candles!

Such a cutie!

Present time! :)

I am guessing that Jakes loved his bat and ball :)

Lani and her kids came this weekend to see baby Lexie and they got to have birthday with Jake too! We were so glad they were here for the weekend!

Jake helping Justin put together his new motorcycle.

Lani, Brody and baby Lexie.

I can just hear Jakes thoughts, "uh dad are you sure you are doing it right, you are using mom's pink hammer...."

Jake on his new hot rod.

The "fishing" game. The only present that we didn't get to play with that Jake got was a slip-n-slide. The kids tried and tried to talk me into it but with the temperature only being 50 with rain I refused to let them slip-n-slide! Another day with the sun!

Baby Lexie at the party! We had a lot of fun with Jake for his 2nd birthday. We are so glad he is part of our family! We love Jake.

Max's Kindergarten Graduation

I can't even believe that Max has graduated from Kindergarten. Is he really old enough for this? Also I am terribly sad that he will be going to all day school in the fall. I am trying to be excited since he is thrilled but I will then loose my 2nd child to all day school. When do they grow up so fast? I swear if I didn't pay attention and keep my camera handy I would miss them growing up because it goes to fast.

One proud kindergartener.

They sang songs and did dances and did sign language it was a great program.

Max sang his little heart out. I am not sure what the situation is with me and Justin but we cried at Isaac's kindergarten graduation and Max's preschool graduation, we cried at Isaac's Christmas program and Thanksgiving program, and at Max's kindergarten graduation we cry when they do awesome playing sports or at piano festival or when they make a good choice. We cry when they love each other and play good together. We are a complete mess we are! We really love these kids!

Isn't he just adorable!!

Max and his awesome teacher Mrs. Barnett

A picture of us after graduation. Isaac came to his graduation during school but he had to go back to class so he wasn't home for the picture.

What a cute kid. We are so proud of him.. he worked hard in kindergarten and had so much fun! He made new friends and learned all kinds of new things. He is so ready for 1st grade and he will do awesome there too! We love Max.

Isaac Baseball

Isaac also started baseball last week. He is such a great player. He played 2nd base the first few innings and this is him catching a ball. It was a fly ball and then he threw to 1st base to get the out. It was great! He caught quite a few fly balls at the game this particular night.

Batting - he is also a great when he gets up to bat!

Isaac is a great baseball player and he is very fun to watch. Justin loves to go to the boys baseball games and help base coach and help out in the field. I love the picture above of him helping (or chatting with) Isaac while he is playing outfield. We look forward to a great baseball season!

Jake is 2 years old now...

I just wanted to put on a handful of pictures from Jakes short 2 years. I am sure he has had more pictures taken of him than a lot of kids in 2 years. Someday he will be thrilled. I accidentially put them in the wrong order so the oldest pictures from when he was a newborn baby are at the bottom and they sort of work their way up. Jake makes us smile every single day! We just love him so much there are no words to explain it.

Do you remember that he was always eating dirt last year....

How many 6 week old babies do you know that made a grand appearance to the beach in California?

This is a picture of Jake the 3 days old. I had so much fun going back and looking through pictures of Jake. He is always happy and making us happy too! He loves his brothers so much and they think he is pretty awesome as well. He is so sweet to his new little sister. He calls her "baby yek" He can't say his "l's and his x's" yet so instead of Lex he calls her Yek. We love it! He doesn't want to go to bed without giving everyone a big hug and kiss and he wants his sister to lay by him while he gets a book read to him and a song sung to him. He loves to jump on the tramp with the boys and still loves to play in the dirt. He has the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen! He loves to yell NO NO to Isaac and Max when they are doing something wrong. The first thing he says when he wakes up is, "where's Isaac and Max and the baby go?" Always when someone leaves he says, "Wub you and see ya." When he wants to cuddle he says, "by you" I could probably go on all day about the things I love about Jake. He makes us all so happy and we are so glad he is part of our family. And yes we are finally going to have a birthday party for him this weekend so stay tuned for birthday pictures.
