West Yellowstone :)

Every year after Christmas we head up to West Yellowstone, MT to spend a few days playing with family, riding snowmachines, sitting in the hot tubs and swimming in the pools.  Always a fun fun vacation for all!
This year the boys were thrilled when they found out that grandpa Kirk had bought a couple of snowmachines that they could ride by themselves!  They were in seventh heaven!!

The kids always love spending extra time with their cousins during the christmas holiday.  And we love playing games and hanging out with the grown-ups.

Jake all dressed up and ready to go:)
Max having a great time on the snowmachine.

Even me and Lexie bundled up and went out to ride for awhile.  She loved riding on the snowmachine - - with my luck she will be a winter lover!

They kids just rode 2 one each little machine and took turns driving - you know they would trade when their throttle thumb would cramp up!

Isaac and Max.... just living the dream :)

Me and my mom and Lexie heading out for a ride.

This is the crew that rode behind us...
Max reaching out to give Justin pounds.  These boys had an awesome time!

Grandpa, Justin and all the boys out playing.

My mom and I and Lexie left the boys out to play and we headed in to paint toe nails and stuff.
Justin took the next pictures with his phone while they were out playing.
They went sledding while Lexie was napping and this is the sledding picture I got...

We are pretty lucky to get to go and do so many fun things!  We had another great time in Yellowstone this winter - - Thanks mom and dad for the awesome time!

Stockings and Christmas

It is lucky that Santa found our house "earlier" on christmas eve.  Isaac and Max were up every couple of hours starting at 11:50pm on christmas eve.... and then at 2am and 4am and 6am and finally for the last time at 7:15am.  They had the whole house scoped out and everyone stockings looked through and everything.  I threatened them before they went to be that they weren't to wake up Jake and Lexie or else I would be mean on Christmas day. So at least they didn't wake up the little ones...
They were thrilled about what santa filled their stockings with..  Boise state shirts and hats, awesome movies and yummy candy.

Jake got toy story squinkies and  a remote control car and he was thrilled.  Lexie got bubble gum chapstick (so she will stop eating mine...) zhu zhu pets, a care bear movie and a purse.  She was in heaven.
As you know Santa leaves string for the little kids to follow and clues for the older kids to do a scavanger hunt to find their presents.  It is always so much fun.

Jake wanted a new "blue fast" scooter and so I am sure Santa meant to throw a blue scooter in his sleigh but much to our surprise Jake's new scooter was RED!  He was made right when he opened it and realized it was red... I tried to sell him that a new red scooter would be awesome we could call it  the "red rocket" but he wasn't going for it!  We put it together anyways and then it didn't have an adjustable handle bar and it is way to tall for him!   Kind of a bad way to start the santa presents...

Lexie got a strawberry shortcake shopping cart and food and she was so happy!  I am thinking she gave me her best smile... for the picture.  She is a cutie and she was so happy with her cart.
Max got a remote control dune buggie that he loves and Isaac got a baseball helmet and 2 wii games he has been wanting.  I guess Santa did alright this year.... 3 out of 4 isn't bad.....!

Just a few pictures of other presents they got.  A drawing projector and a ski pass to go snow skiing for Max.
Basketball gear and a ski pass for Isaac.
Jake got this super awesome remote control train set!  The boys all love it!
Lexie got babies and strollers and she was a happy little girl too!  We had a very Merry Christmas here!
