Monster Magnets

I was cleaning out a closet and found this great monster magnet book.  So I got it out and Jake started working on it while I was still cleaning and suddenly he took his hand and hit all the face parts off and said, "I can't play this game it scares the crap out of me!"   It was hilarious!

Jake's preschool halloween parade :)

Jake is all dressed up in his monkey and ready to go to his preschool halloween party.  Isn't he the cutest monkey ever!!

Picture of him with his teacher and his class.
Little Lexie watching the parade :)

Jake was pretty shy during the parade... doesn't that come as a surprise.  But he made one adorable little monkey.

This is new...

Now don't everyone fall over and die at once.....  I am not a cooker and really not a canner but yet I canned apple pie/crisp filling the other day.

Surprisingly not hard and tasty all at the same time!

Motorcycle Extravaganza :)

This weekend we got to go to Bozeman to visit my parents - we got to go for an extra day and it was loads for fun!  The boys planned to go motorcycling all weekend and so they were gone all day Friday and all day Saturday.  My boys were so excited to go they talked about it for 10 days before we left!  Jake had to call grandpa Kirk a couple of times just to see if it was time to come to his house yet.  The were so excited!!  So I sent the camera with Justin and kissed them all goodbye.  From their mouths they said, "we had the best 2 days of our life!"  The boys had so much fun riding motorcycles with Grandpa and the gang.
They were able to have enough bikes there for all of the kids but 1 and Jake rode with Justin.  The older boys were in heaven.

I love these 2 pictures of Grandpa Kirk riding with Max.  I always tell my kids if you can get grandpa riding you will be so impressed!  My dad is an awesome dirtbike rider if you didn't know.  The boys never cease to be amazed by his skills :)

They built a fire and had hot dogs and smores for lunch.

A great pictures of Isaac and Max.
 Justin and Jake.

I loved these 2 pictures of Max and Isaac riding a jumping.

Jake and Arleigh are the cutest little cousins ever!  They just play and get along so good - I love it.
This is the only picture I have of Lexie from the weekend - sitting on Grandma's lap having a donut.  The girls had a great time milling around while the boys lived it up in the dirt.  I do believe this is going to have to become a yearly tradition because we had an AWESOME time!  The boys (including adults) couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had and how fun it was to all ride motorcycles together!  Thanks mom and dad for the fantastic weekend!!!

Pumpkinland

Saturday afternoon after we cleaning the garage and yard up we headed out to pumpkinland.  My kids always like to go here and do the cornmaze and pick pumpkins.  It was a perfect afternoon for it as the weather was 80 degrees!  My favorite!

Justin and the kiddos in the cornmaze.  And a sweet cheeser from Lexie.
Me and the kids in the maze... still....

The kids thought it was a fun cornmaze this year.  It was a scavanger hunt you had to find the secret room with the purple can of magic beans and then you could bring it back to the cashier for a treat.  So here we are finding the magic beans.

It was a fun fall afternoon full of festive activities and the perfect temperature for me!

Work.. work... work..

Isaac decided that he is over asking me for money to buy things all of the time.  Especially because I don't always want to buy what he wants to buy...  So a couple of weekends ago he decided that he was going to try and mow lawns in the neighborhood.  So I helped him practice what he could say to people in asking them if he could mow their lawn and out he went.  He then invited his friend to work with him and they found 3 lawns to mow and then sweep up the clippings and they were thrilled!  They worked for a couple of hours after school and had a lot of fun and did a lot of hard work.  I was proud of Isaac for figured out what kind of hard work he could do to make some of his own money.  After he got done a couple of days later we went to Big 5 sports and got something that he had been wanting and he got to buy it himself.  He was super proud of himself and I was super proud of him.

Way to go boys !!
