Flight Day :)

Every year at the little airport in town they do a flight day for kids.  It called the Eagles Program and my kids have loved it for years!  I was beyond sad this year because Max was up helping his friend build their cabin on the day the flights were!  However the other 3 were excited to go!  Jake and Lexie rode together and they had a ton of fun!  Isaac has gone with the same pilot in the same plane for a couple of years now.  He shows him how to fly and let's him try since he is older and has a license.  He loves it!  

 Flight day is an awesome day at our house we all look forward to it!  If I thought I could get away with looking 18 I would totally do it with the kids!  Isaac and Max are highly considering starting to work towards getting their pilot licenses.  They say flying is awesome!  Jake says he is totally going to do it when he gets bigger too!  No surprise there!  

 Max and Isaac were both gone that evening so we took these 2 up fishing for a bit!

A little walk :)

The other day these 2 cuties needed something to do so Jake quickly suggested they go shoot bb guns.  Lexie doesn't really know how so he was so good to teach her all the things his dad taught him.  They were so cute to watch!  

It was a fun little walk to the forest!

Hiking/Fishing kind of day..

On Saturday we headed out to the hills for some really amazing fishing...  Good thing the company was great because the fishing...oh i mean casting... wasn't great at all!  We must have hiked a million miles (if you ask Lexie's skinny legs..)!  Jake carried his BB gun and had  a great time!  Max caught the only fish of the day!  We were so disappointed because our friend raves about how many fish they catch in these lakes...... I think it must be a fishing tale....!  

We had a fun and long day of waiting for a fish!  We had a good time together though and on the way home we ate at the Burger Shop because that is the only other place we had not visited in the booming metropolsis of mountain land!!  It was a fun few days with everyone!
