The end.

I guess this marks the end of another great year. 2010 was an excellent year for our family and we even got Lexie during this year. We are truly blessed as we move on to 2011 and hope for another great year to come! Happy New Year to you all!

You got it more snow...

more snow again... The kids are getting really good and helping out me by shoveling our driveway and then they help a neighbor or 2 if they can. They are really finding out that serving someone else can feel so good. They did one of my neighbors last week and he said, "I don't know who shoveled my yard but I couldn't have been more thankful", they were so happy to have secretly done that for him. Then another day they did the other neighbors and he came home from work at the same time as Justin and asked if Justin had shoveled his driveway. Just told him no and he asked if it was Isaac and Max and Justin said that there was a pretty good chance that it was them. The next day he showed up with 2 king size candy bars for them because he was so thankful that they were willing to help him out. They are just waiting for the next snow because they already picked who they want to shovel for next. It has been really great for them to help others.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning we had a great time here. The kids got things they loved and we all had fun!

Going through stockings is always a great way to start.

Santa has always left a string for the kids to follow like the pictures of Jake just below. Isaac and Max had a little bit of a hard time being nice to each other on Christmas Eve day and I told them they needed to be nice or santa wouldn't come. Well they woke up on Christmas morning and there was on 1 red string to follow and it started with Jake's name in the tree. Sent them into complete panic... It took them a few minutes of total panic and regret for how they treated each other until they founda note that santa left for them by the cookies. He said that they had outgrown the following of the string and moved onto a treasure hunt with clues. So quickly their fears were put to rest about getting no present from santa. Although he did remind them in his note that they needed to continue working on how to be kind to their brothers and sister. Isaac got just what he wanted an MP3 player.

Of course as usual Max wanted an MP3 player as well and santa did not dissapoint. Their MP3's are pretty fancy they plays songs and movies and books and they are camera's as well.

Jake's string to follow. He loves this!

Jake got a riding horse and he loves it. I believe it is a permanent fixture in our living room now. He is always on it and if anyone touches it (aka Isaac and Max) he totally freaks out.

Lexie got tub toys and a dollie (her very first one.)

All they boys got new bow and arrows that they just love. Here is Jake learning how to work that thing.

Let the nerf wars begin!! Isaac and Max love to have a war with nerf guns and Jake is no different he got a tiny gun that he loves as well.

Jake got this little car that blows up and has balls in it. The kids all had fun playing in it.

We had a really great Christmas this year. They kids were so much fun!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we first went to the movie Despicable Me and the kids loved it. After that we came home and had dinner then we frosted cookies for Santa's plate. Then we talked about the Christmas story and then we watched the movie Christmas Oranges. Then we opened a present... the kids have figured out that it is going to be pajamas on christmas eve.

Is it sad that this is the best picture I had of them in their new pajamas. Jake won't look and Max is in super pose mode and Isaac is just being normal in the back. We had a fun Christmas Eve with the kids. This year was so much fun for Christmas the amout of believing is amazing here! The kids woke up at midnight til one and then they came into my room and woke me up at 3:30 and I refused to get up but they were checking stuff out anyways. They finally went back to bed at 4:30 and we all got up again about 6:45am. I was tired!!!

Holy SNOW!!

HAVE SOME SNOW!

The kids have worked so hard shoveling that past 10 days. We have gotten so dang much snow it is ridiculous! I am having a hard time complaining about the snow this year because the kids are having so much fun playing in it! Can you even imagine me not complaining about the snow.... weird huh....?

Even baby Jake loves it out there!

That is in our front yard!

The kids decided to have snow cones and got ice cream cones and filled them with snow. We had a ball playing outside the day that the sky opened up and let down a ton of snow!

This is Jake walking across the road! Yes the road... I don't even know how many people got stuck in their cars this day it was a mess!

Working on a snow fort.

Sledding at the neighbors house with all the neighborhood kids.

Sometimes Isaac is such a ham! He often surprises me with his funny personality. I thought this was hilarious! He just pulled this face out at the last minute for the picture.

We have had a ton of fun playing in the snow in our front yard!

WHAT??

SO WE GOT 18 INCHES OF SNOW LAST NIGHT AND ARE SUPPOSED TO GET A MINIMUM OF 12 MORE INCHES TODAY AND IT ISN'T SUPPOSED TO STOP SNOWING TIL THURSDAY NIGHT! SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE WEEK AND WE ARE GOING TO BUILD SNOWFORTS AND POSSIBLY AN IGLOO! ANYONE WANT TO COME OVER???

Yesterday's snow..

This was the outside fun from yesterday. We had quite a few inches of fresh new snow that the kids were having a great time playing in!

I am wondering how Max got the "pulling" job?

Starting to make a snowman.

Playing with friends in the snow is so much fun!

Building a snowfort wall.

Isaac and his friend Aaron.

They made a bunch of big snowballs and put them on the top of the shovel and then jumped on the bottom of the shovel making it a catapult. They were having a great time! And the shovel survived the beating!

Isaac's turn to jump.

And finally Max's turn to jump.

And hot chocolate to end the fun! What a great afternoon!
