Jake's mom school and science :)

These are a few pictures of the last few days of activities with Jake.  We are working on letter 'r' these days--- We talked about rain and weather..

A quick picture in the middle of Jake he was so proud of himself of hitting the bullseye!  He was probably 10 or so feet back and he seriously hit the bullseye and it was a party around here!!
Rolling race cars in paint and making the 'r' sound.
Jake loved this project and he said a lot of 'r's!

Fruit Loop 'Rainbows'  this was a lot of fun as well!

Science projects were make the egg shell on a egg soft with vinegar as well as diffusion with water and food coloring and then bleaching out the color and watching it.  The kids were all thrilled!
It is always exciting around here!  Learning learning learning...

Visitors :)

Nolan & Anita came to visit the boys the day in between their birthdays.  Nolan came and got them and took them to the hotel for the continental breakfast and then we just got to hang out for the day.
I wasn't there but I am sure the boys had a great time playing Grandpa Nolan's guitar they always love it.  Max really wants to learn guitar and I told him a few more years of piano first and then we will talk.

We also went to Isaac's basketball game and then took the kids and a couple of friends to a fun place to play after that.  We had a great time visiting with Nolan & Anita.

Isaac's #10 Birthday

My goodness how these 10 years have flown by with Isaac.  It is hard to believe that he is double digits now-- never to go back.  Isaac has been asking for an ipod touch for at least a year.  We never can seem to bring ourselves to spend $200 on that for a young kid.  So this year we just opted to give him cash and with a lot of other kind people giving him cash as well we were able to find him an ipod touch.  We found it used in the local classifieds and were able to get it for a really good price.  He even had money to buy himself a Boise State cover for it and still money to spare.

Isaac with his 2 brothers.  Lexie was too tired to join us for cake but I am sure she was there in heart.

Isaac got strawberry filling inside his cake.. it was delicious.
Here is Isaac with  his new toy.  He quickly took of the Texas Longhorns stuff and is very impatiently waiting for his Boise State cover to get here.  Isaac is such a good kid right now.  He has a special relationship with his sister she just adores Isaac.  He is a sport loving, friend playing, mom helping good kind of boy.  Love you Isaac.

Max's #8 Birthday

Can you believe that Max is 8 years old now????

Max really wanted a  Ripstick Ripster for his birthday and a new basketball.  And the lucky boy got both of his wishes granted!  I didn't go all out on the cakes this year because the boys couldn't decide what they wanted so I just made cakes with exciting stuff inside.

I loved these pictures of Max riding his ripstick on his birthday.  It was a pretty nice afternoon so that was lucky for Max so that he could ride his new toy for awhile.

I seriously can't believe that Max is 8 years old!  Max is the sweetest, loving, helping, peacemaking boy. He loves to play with Jake and help him learn new stuff.  He is such a good boy and I am blessed to call him my son.  I love him so much!

Lexie, Lexie, Lexie...

Lexie is turning into quite the girlie girl!  She is going through a phase right now that she only wants to wear dresses.  The other day I was trying to get her to wear pants and she was throwing the biggest tantrum and then flung back and hit her head on the kitchen floor and gave herself a mild concussion!  Love that!!! :(   Anyways what I do love is that she is a girlie girl with skirts and all....  She also wants to sleep with her 2 favorite babies every night.  So adorable!

Science Fair

Isaac had to do the science fair this year for his class.  He did an awesome job!  It was optional for the kids ages kindergarden-3rd grade.  Of course since Isaac was doing it Max wanted to as well.  They were excused to sit at their booths for 2 1/2 hours on Wednesday and then they got ice cream sandwiches - so basically social hour with a treat at the end.  They had a ton of fun!  We all headed off to parents night at the science fair and had a fun time.  Isaac and Max both picked their own projects ideas and did all of the graphing and putting it together.  I think they did really awesome!

 Isaac with his good friend.
The little kiddos sitting by Max at his booth.
Max answering some questions about his project.  I would have taken a few more pictures of Isaac but I couldn't see between the girls that were standing at his booth.  He did have me believing that he didn't like the girls until that night..... when he couldn't stop talking to them!

Lexie & the frosting :)

On Valentine's night we frosted some cookies together.  Lexie was more interested in frosting her leg so we gave her her own bowl of frosting while the rest of us frosted the cookies.
She was super proud of her work!

We all helped frost cookies but Isaac doesn't want to wear a shirt around the house anymore so he isn't in the pictures and Jake wants to be like Isaac so just Max and Lexie in the photos today!
She was such a cute little mess!!
