A relaxing sunday afternoon

Sunday afternoon I took the kids out for a walk for quite awhile.  We stopped and threw rocks everywhere down the river.  Who is in a hurry on a warm Sunday afternoon??  I just had to post this picture above of Lexie's cute little piggie tails.  Unfortunately she will only leave them in for a short amount of time but man they are cute while they last!

A few bubbles in the backyard.  A crowd favorite!

Football in the backyard.... another crowd favorite!

Now that the weather is nice again I am back to walking to get the kids from school everyday and we really love our time as we walk home together. :)  I am one lucky mamma!

4th Grade County Fair

One of the big projects for the 4th graders is the county fair.  They get assigned a county in Utah and have to research and put together a presentation on it.  Isaac did Box Elder County and he did an excellent job!  I wanted him to get the most out of it as possible so I was here and guided him along but he did it all on his own.  He made a super impressive poster board and learned a lot!  Who would have know that there was cool stuff to see and do it box elder county??
We got to go visit the county fair and see everything Jake was thrilled to see Isaac at school!

Girls Trip!

It was girl trip time of year!!  This year we landed in Salt Lake City.  It is always such a fun weekend to spend with my mom and sisters.  We laugh.. hard... and have a ton of fun!  I finally took out my camera this one day so enjoy the pictures from one of our days!

We spent the day at the new City Creek Mall in SLC and it was awesome!  So pretty and great shopping and a delicious stop to the Cheesecake Factory!

Just a quick few pictures of city creek mall.

Trying out all the nail polish and everything else in Sephora.
I love these girls and I am so lucky to have them as best mom, best sisters and best friends.

The end of spring break!

Another something fun we did during spring break.  I took the boys to this place and they got to do the ropes course.  You get all hooked in and walk across high things attached to ropes.  They were thrilled to try something new and had fun.  I had to just get them hooked in and take a few pictures and then they were off for an hour so I took Jake and Lexie to a huge and great fun playground area.  When I came back to get them Max looked relieved to be done and he said, "wow, that was terrifying!"  It is the first time I have just left them to do something and I knew they would be just fine but apparently I should have stayed around a little bit longer. Poor Max. I felt like a super great mom!!

We had a ton of fun during spring break!  I was so glad to have the kids around to play with each day!

I have lost my mind....

Yes you are seeing this correctly...... we are attempting to hatch our own birds.  We are trying to hatch 6 pheasants and 6 chickens.  I want to do this with the preschool so we are doing a trial run right now to see if this way will work or if we will have do do it a different way.
Here we are trying to gegt the temperature correct because it needs to be 100.5-101 degrees.  (Doesn't leave much room for error...)  It took us awhile to get the temperature correct and then we added the eggs.

Because pheasants take 23 days to hatch and chickens only 21 we had to put the 6 pheasants in 2 days earlier.  Who would have know being a chicken mama could be so hard.. we have to turn the eggs and check the temperature every day!

At this point we are really just praying that one little egg will hatch!!  Only time will tell and we still have a couple more weeks of turning and sitting on eggs!

River, Rocks & Snakes

The other day while we were out walking the river trail we decided to stop and throw some rocks..  Nothing special in these pictures just regular Murray life....

These kids always have a fun time together.  Isaac and Lexie had fun throwing rocks and shoulder rides and Max and Jake were the mighty snake hunters and believe me there were a lot of nasty snakes roaming around down there!
