Lexie's Official 1st Day of Preschool

 It is Lexie's "official" first day of preschool.  She went last year 5 days a week and is currently one smart cookie, BUT...  she is now "officially" 3 years old and in the 3 year old class (as well as the 4 year old class.....)  She loves this preschool thing and she loves to help me prepare and make choices and pretends to teach the boys preschool when they get home.  My favorite is when she teaches then something and then looks over at me and says, "Right Mom?"  Love.

 She is beyond thrilled with her tinker bell backpack.  

 It was my first day of preschool for the year as well.  

I am only a little behind...... we are almost done with our first month of preschool.  Love getting to spend this time with this little sweetie.  

A Duck???

 The night we got home from Lake Mead we returned to a friend in our backyard!  This duck had taken up living in our backyard while we were gone.  The kids were beyond thrilled that a pet found it's way to our home and begging that I would let it stay.  Of course, being the kind mother that I am, I said, sure!  

 Max found some stuff for it's bed, got it a water bowl and some bread.  I was sure we had a forever staying around pet duck.

We all went to bed feeling happy that we had a pet duck...  needless to say it didn't like it that we returned to it's home and it was gone by the time the sun came up.  Although it did enjoy its, bed and food and water before it left :)
