One Saturday afternoon we took the kids to the pumpkin patch for a little while. I like this particular pumpkin patch because it is FREE to play at! The kids always have a ball here! First up... corn pit.
It was a sad day because Isaac was "to grown up" to want to play in the corn pit. It was more fun to sit by mom :) Which I like too!
I loved these flying pictures in the corn pit!
And some awesome plow landings!
Hands stands anyone! This is a fantastic place to work on my gymnastics!
Jake flying off the double stack of hay bales and Lexie was off shortly after!
A fun little hay maze :)
They found a hiding place for corn and loaded up their pockets! We played with corn kernels for days after that!
A nice little hay ride!
My two favorite things of the day were...... being with my perfect family and the temperature was 80 degrees!
We told the kids they could pick a pumpkin but they had to be able to carry it themselves. Jake wanted on the same size as Isaac and Max and this child is determined!! Very determined!! He picked on and hauled it a long ways all by himself!
It was a swinging back and forth and he was a grunting and his mouth was hanging wide open in concentration! This is classic Jake when he is keeping up with the "big" boys!
Taking a tiny little break while he waits for the tractor to go by.
And then he was right back at it again! He was taking that pumpkin home no matter what!
That was the last 5 steps! He made it and we of course let him have the pumpkin. Anyone who will work that hard deserves the prize! We had an awesome day together!
