Brighton Resort Ski Day

Justin took the kids skiing to Brighton Resort today.  It was one of their Christmas presents.  They will get to go a few times this winter and they are thrilled!  It was a snowy day but Justin said the snow was great!  He agrees with the Utah license plates now..."Utah, the best snow on earth."  He said it was awesome!  Justin said the boys are really getting to be good skiiers and I am sure they all had a pretty fantastic day!

Pretty dang lucky boys if you ask me!  They are lucky to be able to do all the things they get to do!

Sledding :)

This is normally how it looks when we are on our way home from sledding, but on this day this was on our way to the hill.  She was all tuckered out before it even started.  It was all fine and well until Justin accidentially kicked snow on her face.  That woke her up in a hurry!

We just wen tup to one of the golf courses near by and hit the hills.  Some of them were huge and some were just tiny enough for my little ones (and me) to enjoy!

Jake took a hard crash and Justin had to walk down the hill and get him and walk him back up.  Poor kid just wants to be as old as his brothers so bad!  He went on the big hill because that is what they do and he didn't weigh enough to hold down the sled and took a doozy of a crash!

 Up come the troops :)

I talked Lexie into a simple and easy ride with me she didn't want to crash like the boys so I was thankful we had a powder easy ride with no bumps for her.

Just had to take a close up of this kids eyes!  They are so beautiful.
We had a super fun sledding outing.  The kids all walked away with big smiles and cold toes.  A perfect winter afternoon!

Jake's Preschool Christmas Program

Jake had his preschool Christmas program this weekend.  He did more that fantastic!  It was my first program with the preschool and I couldn't have been more thrilled with how the kids did.  These first few pictures are just of the set up I put together for the program.  I usually have 8 kids in the class but 2 of them were already gone for the holidays.

A few pictures before it started.  Jake looking all daper in his black sweater and khakis.  He is one handsome guy.  I just love him.

The kids all wanted to be the leader of the pledge so I put all the names in a hat and drew on out and Jake was the lucky winner!  He was thrilled!

He sang his little heart out I was so proud of him.  He said to me before it started, "mom I will do my very best and sing all the songs."  And I promise you he didn't let me down!  He was awesome.

Yes that is Jake and his friend Brayden on the floor...  The song we were singing is the "Brown" song.  Goes like this..., "B.R.O.W.N. brown is spelled just like this, B.R.O.W.N. brown as a chocolate kiss."  Cute little song to help them learn how to spell their color words.  So Jake and Brayden were whispering back and forth before the song started and then off we went singing away..  On the part where it says chocolate kiss they dropped to the ground and hid their faces and then stood up and said, "GROSS!" Right together right on que (their que that is...)   I roared in laughter cuz I couldn't have planned something that funny if I wanted to!  These 2 boys crack me up in school they are the best little buddies and it is so fun to be a part of that.
Their smiles show how proud they are of their little stunt.  It was pretty hilarious!

I love this little santa :)
Jake and 3 of his friends from preschool.

I am so proud of Jake he has learned so much since school started.  We have had so much fun learning together and having fun each day.  I love spending my days with this little sweet boy and watching him learn and grow.
