Playing with Birds :)

On Saturday we tried to do a little bit of a lot of things!  First we headed over to a school to watch Gavin's rugby game.  It was my first rugby game and it turns out that rugby is highly entertaining to me!  I had no idea what any of the rules were but honestly it looked to me like there weren't a ton of rules.....  It was great!  Then we headed over to a different school to watch Morgan play volleyball and I remembered how much I love to watch volleyball!  Gavin and Morgan both played great and it was fun to watch them!    The we headed over to see Jarod at his house.  We haven't seen where he lived since he moved ;)..  Anyways he has been working hard at a lot of things in his house and in his yard.  The kids loved seeing his pigeon homes and all the birds.  He was kind enough to let them each hold one.

It was fun to visit and the kids thoroughly enjoyed playing with his dogs.  We then headed over towards a park to meet back up with everyone for a picnic but the park was packed!  So we turned it around and everyone came back to Jarod's house for the picnic.  After that we made our way back to Jessica's and then over to a hotel to swim with Kip's side of the family!  It was a fun day to see so much of what everyone is up to over there!  We went to church with Kip and Jessica on Sunday morning and then made our way back home.  It was a great weekend spent with family!

At The Temple :)

Last weekend we went over to Boise to spend time with Justin's family.  His mom was getting sealed in the Boise Temple and we were excited for her!  This pictures is his sister and family, then Nancy and Kent, then Kent's sister and brother-in-law, then Justin and I and our kids, then his  brother Jason and Sarah,

Jake always loves a good edge of a flower bed to run on..
I was taking a picture of Lexie and Molly and Jake came flying in!  I wish I would have gotten him in the center of the picture!  You can see that he is flying his feet are off the ground and his smile speaks volumes! A true photo bomb!

Attempting to take a picture of the kids that were there!!

It was freezing and the wind was howling!!

Then we went to Tucano's for dinner and it was great!
My kids had a ton of fun trying all that good food there!  It was a great day!
It was great to see and spend time with Justin's family!  It was a great weekend!

Fishing Experts!

Our spring break was pretty low key and ya know it was OK!  I love to be out and about doing just anything with these 4 cute kids of mine!  We headed out on a bike ride/fishing trip and it was a perfect kind of afternoon!  The boys caught 3 fish and they couldn't have been happier!  Each boy got one - - ahh perfect!

Jake said - here I will hold Lexie up for the picture so you can see her in it....... Apparently he really doesn't realize that they are the exact same height.....  So this just turned into a funny picture!

We had a who's going to ride who's bike swap - - Isaac ended up on Lexie's bike!  It was perfect!

Jake fished and fished in this spot where Isaac and Max caught their fish and just wasn't having any luck so we headed down the river some more and they stopped in one last spot before we had to go home to try out their luck!

The kids all genuinely loved each other this afternoon - it was like a mothers dream day!  But I LOVED all the pictures of the boys on the bikes.  Max rode Jakes bike and pumped him home.  Fishing pole in one hand fish in the other..  The only thing I could see through my eyes full of water was happiness.  Sometimes a perfect day is a fishing pole, bike pegs, and a best friend brother!

This was the last spot to fish and then we had to get home to start the run around for soccer games.  So Jake fished and fished and then he said, "ok this is my last cast mom and then we can go..."  He threw the line in and caught a fish!!  Last cast of the day!!  You should have seen the smiles on these boys!

I said, 'ok let me get a picture of Jake with his fish - and Jake said to me, "no mom Max helped me catch this fish he will be in my picture with me!"  Then he reached up and put his arm around him..  I could barely see through the water in my eyes behind my camera.  I love a great day.

It's awesome how sometimes the best days are unplanned and unexpensive and the best days ever!  I cherish every perfect afternoon with these 4 kids!
