These are just a few random pictures of life around here in the last day or so.

The beginning of working on the pinewood derby car. This is not just a one child project... Justin gets a lot of opinions and help on this job.

Yes... Jake was made the target for bow and arrow shooting last night. Isaac and max are lucky he is such a good sport!

And yes now we are back to working on the pinewood derby car. Not a lot going on here in the last few days but - don't worry soccer and baseball start this week! So we are back to sports 4 days a week and Saturdays!

Isaac's big ski day!

It almost killed Isaac to wait for 2 weeks after Max got to go skiing for his turn. But alas his Saturday finally rolled around and he was super excited!

I am sure if I know Isaac he is just dying to get out there at this point.

Finally time to hit the mountain. Before lunch they did the bunny hill just to get a feel for things... but that didn't last long for Isaac he was anxious to get on that chair lift and head up the big mountain.

Isaac said that Sundance has the best pizza in the world! (and Max agreed with him so it really must be good!)

He had such a great time skiing down the mountain. Justin just loved it!

One of the times Isaac told Justin he wanted to go clear to the top and not get off at the half-way point. So Justin decided that would be okay and up up up they went. They ran into some hard spots and Justin really had to help Isaac get down that mountain. They only went up there one time and that was enough to help them figure out that Isaac isn't quite ready for Black Diamond runs!

There are not words for how much fun Isaac had... He loved every minute of his day skiing and hanging out with his dad. He is excited to go again next season. I told him and Max that maybe if they save all of their summer working money they could buy themselves one day pass for skiing in the winter. They both loved it and I was so glad that Justin got to do something he loves with his boys!

This is just a quick video of Isaac skiing! He had an awesome time and loved every minute of skiing! Yes you can add it to the list of his favorite sports!

My wall...

This is what I have been working on lately. My piano room wall. It has been almost 4 years now since we moved in this house and still it lacks pictures on the wall. I finally got an idea and went with it for on top of the piano and the wall. I love the way it turned out. The pictures of the kids hanging on the wall are the ones I took just recently... They are 14x22 up there so not small at all! I have a lot of wall to cover so we went big!!
On top of the piano I put a very large family picture in the middle. I made the topiaries on the right side of the piano and painted that wood "M" silver. Just what I wanted. I love the way it turned out and it made my piano room a whole lot more cozy. Love it!

We have been going to quite a few of the Utah Flash games. The kids love it and it is free entertainment so we love it too! Just a few pictures from the last one we went to...

Yes a pictures of Lexie and Justin as well. We all have a great time at the games we will be sad when they are over - although we will move onto mini golf, go carts, batting cages, laser tag, roller coasters and Seven Peaks! Yeah!!!
