Shooting with Justin

On Saturday morning Justin wanted to go out and shoot some skeet. Of course that would mean that I had to want to go shoot skeet as well. So with all of my boys giving me puppy dog eyes in begging to go... I gave and out we went. To my surprise it was actually pretty fun. I just throw and Justin shoots and it works out just fine. The kids throw and shoot and Justin just shoots. I told Justin I could deal with doing this once a month or something. I now know that it only takes about 1 - 1 1/2 hours to shoot a box of skeet and then we can still do what we need to on a Saturday. Unlike hunting where you have to drive around and wait... and wait... and wait... for some animal to poke it's head out.

If you are wondering by the flying legs and stuff ... I was actually a pretty good thrower.

Max throwing for his dad.

Isaac throwing for his dad.

Jake wanting to throw for his dad but not being able to lift the thrower with a thing in it.

Jake found a great job which was handing me the clay pigeons when it was time to load up again.

Finally the time the kids have been waiting for... shooting the 22' - so yes we all have to help load it for it to be fun.

Isaac shooting.

Max taking his turn to shoot as well.

Max pretending to shoot when it is not actually his turn to hold the gun. We all had a fun time out in the wilderness together on Saturday. I have such a cute and fun family!

Jake riding a scooter

Jake has been trying to ride the razor scooters for a couple of weeks and as you can probably imagine that isn't going very good for him. So yesterday I remembered that I had put our three wheeled scooter in the crawl space. I went down right away and got it for him and brought it up for him to play with. He loved it!

One tiny foot trying to figure out how to push it along.

Carefully watching the other kids as they ride their scooters.
So cute!

After trying for awhile he must have decided that dragging it along would work for today. What a cute kid!

On Saturday afternoon we went to help Justin move a few things from his his old building and office to his new building and office. I thought it would be nice for you to see where he was working now. I wish now that I would have taken a picture of his old office and building so you could see why he is so excited to move into this building. Everyone he works with is so excited to move into this new building.

The next few pictures are out in the shop area. It is huge and I mean huge! These pictures don't even do it justice at all.

They have a few over head cranes in the middle to haul stuff around on this overhead system. (Maybe similar to the movie Monsters, Inc. where the doors are on tracks)

The inventory department is going to be in the right side of this picture. (If I remember right)

This is upstairs on the mezzanine.

This is also upstairs where they are going to be putting in their own shooting range.

It is very obvious to me that they actually want the employees to not just work here but possibly live here. The added a locker room and showers. (Justin is already working for 6am to 6pm and that is because he has to leave for soccer games. I certainly hope it doesn't get any worse than that.)

This is the hall that his office is down and it is the last office on the right. There are a lot of halls this big just lined with offices. This building is huge!

Everyone in the building has the same office - except for the President and Execuitives. (Maybe one day he will be in the big office - he certainly is working his way there.)

This is what Justin will be looking at outside of his windows. I am going to have to keep my eye on his spotting scope and make sure it is home or else he will never get any work done again!

"The Antlers"

These antlers have been around for quite awhile, but finally they get to be on the wall. I realize that Justin wishes he had some kind of "hunting" room but for now the garage will have to do. They have been on the floor in the garage for awhile and Justin has been very worried the kids might break them. So he got this mounting kit and put it together and they have found themselves a home for awhile.

Jake and his Strawberries

Jake has decided that he likes strawberries. I was letting him eat them all by himself yesterday and he ate like half of the tub of strawberries. He even ate them right down to the green stem at the top. He is only eating right now if he feeds himself so that has been kind of a pain for all of us. As you know everything is NOT finger food! But we are all adjusting... We love him anyways.

Jake

These are a few of the cute picures of my baby Jake. I just love, love, love my three boys!

Max

These are the few random pictures I took of Max. Isn't he cute!

Isaac

Friday afternoon while I had my camera out I took these few pictures. I wanted to try a few in black and white and most of them turned out pretty cute. Although I had adorable models!
Max and I were sitting outside on Friday just chatting on the step when he decided to practice his skateboard. I was just sitting there watching him and he said to me, "mom go get the camera." I guess he knows me pretty good.

He did a great job on his skateboard. He also made me try it a few times and I did okay, but those skateboards scare me. He took a couple pictures of me just to be fair and I am saving you the laughing by looking at those pictures. Max is always fun to play with - ( and he's always good for a cute smile and picture.)
